After an increase in the world's population, the government has a strict policy against birthing more than one child into each family. If the three-person family is expecting a second child, they are to eliminate the child at birth or eliminate their eldest child and replace with the new one. If they do not wish to terminate the pregnancy, then they are terminated as well by law to regulate the world's population. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people.
