In late summer 1980, a hunter and his witch wife built The Hunter's Inn - a safe haven for hunters and their children when the world became too dangerous to face alone. Tav and Valleri Whitlock raised their own kids in that blend of cedar, salt, and quiet magic, and the Inn gained a reputation for protection strong enough that Bobby Singer himself sent people their way. Over time, the orchard grew, the wards settled, and the house seemed to breathe with the people it sheltered. In October 1992, a 1967 black Chevy Impala rolled up the gravel drive.
