One day, a girl wakes up to a kitten outside her window and adopts it in fear of the winter cold killing the kitten. the very next night witches appear claiming the cat and saying, " the cat has now adopted you, young witch". but there is one problem. The Girl is catholic and turns away the offer. the witches then chuckle and ask if she would accept a trial of their magic to show them what witches can do. Bound to say yes, the girl accepts.
