"Shift!" He ordered in his alpha tone. Holy shit! He's an alpha! They absolute hate rogues on their pack territory! Might as well start praying because I am so dead. I ignore his demands and start murmuring prayers in my mind."God, I know I did a lot of shit but can you please overlook the time I smack camed my mom-" I said shift!" He demanded again, in his deep and husky voice. I shift and cover my body as much as I could with my hands. He threw me his shirt, and let me just tell you that shit smell good. "Mate!" My wolf shouts making me wince at her irritating voice. Once my wolf said those words it didn't take long for me to start running but shit I could barely run in these short legs. It barely took him a second to reach me and pin me too a tree."Mine!" He growled possessively at me. "Hold up buddy, I'm no ones so if you could kindly let go of me and pretend like we don't know each other.""Your mine and only mine!" And at that point I knew I was severely screwed.

On the eve of his 18th birthday, Caleb's life shattered. As the third-born son of a former Beta, he expected to shift into a strong Beta wolf like his father and brothers. Instead, the Moon Goddess had other plans-she made him an Omega. Before he could even process the betrayal of his own body, his pack turned on him. Branded as nothing more than a pawn in their power games, they sent him to a breeding facility, forcing him to bear a child he was never allowed to hold. Escaping that nightmare, Caleb built a new life as a Deputy Sheriff in a quiet town, far from the suffocating grip of pack politics. But the past refuses to stay buried. When his old pack comes hunting for him, determined to drag him back into their control, Caleb faces an impossible choice-bend to their archaic laws or fight tooth and claw for the freedom he's bled for. One thing is certain: Caleb may be an Omega, but he's no one's prey.
