NOTE: Definitely an Avenger's fic as much as a Loki one. It's kinda mixed "reader" and original character. I couldn't help but give her personality and, for reasons explained further down, a name. Still, if it was a true oc I'd have gone into greater depths with her background and put way more character preferences and stuff than I do, tho I still do sometimes. So it's not completely oc and is written in second person like an insert. Ok, on with the summary:

Wren is your average nerd who, by means unknown to everyone, manages to open a portal to 2015 MCU. She sets off with the Avengers to stop the future events, such as Civil War, Ragnarok, Infinity War, and Endgame. Loki, her favorite character, is dragged into the mix, and she has to learn how to handle Loki in the flesh. Wren must adapt to the reality of being in the MCU, while also making sure that her love for the character Loki doesn't get her stabbed in the back by the live version.
(yeah, basically the reader is dragged into the MCU in 2015, but has knowledge of movies from 2021. She does what any fan might do with that information and situation. Loki and Reader relationship is a main focus, because I couldn't help myself, but Avengers and MCU life is a big part.)
Please forgive grammatical errors. Also, chapters later on get longer, but the first few are short because I was just having fun at first. I have the name Wren inserted for Y/N simply because my friend, when reading it, gave her that name so we didn't have to keep saying Y/N. It ended up sticking, and I found myself typing Wren instead of Y/N. It kinda is her name now, like Tony makes nicknames based off of it.
Also, uh, idk how this works if I'm supposed to always give credit for something that is clearly Marvel related...cuz I never pay attention to if people do that on a website that's literally like lots of fanfic... but yeah characters and places and everything are all from Marvel...so uh don't come at me DisneySeluruh Hak Cipta Dilindungi Undang-Undang

Nightmares and paranoia, won't even let him step out of the house which makes him exist more as an entity than a person. When his good friend from the past offers him a job for the avengers, he never thinks he will take it. Until he realises work may be the only thing he truly needs to get back to his old life, if that is even possible. When they meet they both come to the conclusion that they will never get along. When Samantha a mutant and X-man is rescued from her captors by S.H.I.E.L.D she finds comfort from an unlikely source. This story follows the relationship between my OC Samantha Howlett and everyone's favorite Jotun Loki Odinson. This is an AU where the X-men have existed in the MCU since the very beginning they are involved in the events that take place in the MCU such as the battle of New York and other "Avengers level threats." In this AU Thor Ragnarok goes down slightly differently with Thor loosing his hammer when he falls from the bifrost instead of it being broken by Hela. He finds it later and figures out its no match for Hela. Thor then goes to forge Stormbreaker which is also not strong enough and he's forced to allow Ragnarok to take place. Thanos is killed prior to 2018 so he never gets the infinity stones and most of the events in Infinity War and Endgame do not occur. In this AU Spider-Man has a public identity now and everyone's knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man. He didn't flip out like he does in the movies because Tony is there to help him through it. Magic works slightly differently than it does in the movies because I wrote this before some of the rules with it were established and it's too late to change it now for story reasons. There are also other differences that luckily can be explained away via the multiverse. Though I try to draw a lot of inspiration from the main MCU timeline and work with the continuity that gives me it's not always possible to do because of how this story needs to play out. TRIGGER WARNINGS: Strong language, violence, some sexual content (honestly not much more than a PG-13 movie would show) mentions and descriptions of physical abuse and sexual abuse. Okay so I know I said I would be rewriting it and it is kinda true bu the rewrite is getting a bit further from the original path. After feeling she's in control, she is happy to show the team her new abilities. This lands Peter plummeting into a hole sky scrapers deep, causing Gwen to run again. Steve & a couple of friends scour the Earth to find her only to end up heartbroken when they are told she's headed to a different galaxy. She is focused on mastering herself when she's pulled back to Earth due to a friend being days away from death. This fanfic is an alternate universe. There are nods to the MCU and easter eggs throughout the story, but this story-line is of my own making. The timeline is also jumbled up, there will be things happening before they should have and things that should be happening that won't be. The characters names are property of Marvel, MCU. My main character is inspired by a few different Marvel characters, but is my own. Bucky is NOT the one to kill the Stark's in this fic. This story is rated Mature due to it's eventual sexual content and steamy interactions.
