CEO of New York's most successful corporation has just been pronounced dead. In his place, his youngest son, Sebastian Romano, will step forward. However, Sebastian is known for his ruthless behavior. No one is able to take him seriously with his corrosive reputation. In hopes to resolve this issue, Nora Daley is selected to play the role of his fiancé, a woman who has managed to turn his life around and bring out his best self.
Both are forced to play along, Sebastian for his reputation, and Nora for the money. Tensions rise when it's clear both have a strong disliking towards the other. But when family secrets begin surfacing, Nora and Sebastian must work together to solve the mystery of his father's death while upholding their ruse.
Though from the looks of it, the lines between truth and lie are beginning to blur together.
