My Superman. [A Nash Grier Fanfic]

"Because I need you, Nash. Maybe you don't need me, but I need you." I repeated, feeling the tears start to roll down my cheeks.
"Who said I didn't need you? I need you more than anything, Sydney. But, it just can't work right now. I have to keep you safe. I'll see you soon, darling I promise."
"Nash, please I don't understand what's happening." I slid down the wall, slowly slipping into an anxiety attack. I started to shake uncontrollably and Nash slid beside me.
He wrapped his arms around me. "I don't know how long this is gonna be for, but as soon as it's over I'm going to be right here holding you. You're in danger because of me, and if something happened to you I wouldn't be able to handle it."
I lifted up my head and he looked at me. He wiped my tears away and looked me directly in the eyes.
"I love you, Sydney Grace Elizabeth, and I promise you that I will see you again soon. Don't give up on me."
"I'm not going to give up on you, Nash, I promise. I love you too."
We leaned in and pressed our lips together one last time, then we parted and I watched Nash walk out the door, not knowing what was going on or when I would see him again.
