Ah, therapy. For Bucky Barnes, it hasn't been all that therapeutic. But, for once, his shrink might have had a good idea. She's suggested that he keep a journal of everything he can remember since the 40's. And he does it. Painstakingly, Bucky hand writes his account of the war, Hydra, and the personal battle that came after. He does it. But not because some passive aggressive government tool said it'd make his brain better. He does it for her. (Chapters 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 27, 29, 33, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, and 50 from Bucky's perspective.) ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ CONTENT WARNINGS: graphic torture, violence, death, loss of identity, themes surrounding sexual assault and predatory sexual behavior between adults, sexual themes, brief anxiety, PTSD, smut, ANGST, swearing.
