During an investigation of a crime scene in a forest, detective Almond finds a mysterious and large cave. Curiously he goes in and is greeted by a giant, fearsome talking dragon with a very long mane. Their name is Roguefort and tells Almond they was once a human but was cursed as punishment for their crimes. Almond soon befriends them as the dragon seemed to admire him. Not only that, Almond wants to help them become human again. After some time, Roguefort falls in love with Almond, which only complicates things more.
