Alex Mercer. They call him a killer, a monster, a Terrorist. Or at least they did. His dad, Justin, was forced to create the blacklight virus when Alex was just ten. After being a pawn for a year he decided to get out of it with his sister Salina. They found that a purge was about to be commented so Justin took Alex and Dana, his daughter. They were cornered by Blackwatch. Justin, In fit of rage, threw the vile on the floor. Releasing the virus upon Manhattan. Alex becomes the Prototype, and saves New York from annihilation. But at a very high price. His last family and friend dying to Blackwatch. At least that was what he thought. Now it turns out he has a uncle. With everything he has seen, what he has done, can he be in a family again? And not any family, but the avenger family.

Having a lonely childhood was sad but not unheard of. Being able to control fire was definitely strange but in this world was not a phenomenon. But living with the avengers as a fourteen year old assassin, now that, that was extraordinary. Anastasia a girl, who had known nothing but mission, kill, sleep ,repeat all her life, who knew no one and no one knew her. Suddenly becomes a world famous kid, someone who has people do double takes of as she cruises down the street with her newly adopted father, Steve Rodger's. A fourteen year old girl who had blood on her hands before she even made double digits, who can bend and create fire has to now fit into the family who is nothing but normal. Steve Rodger's never expected to be a father, especially not to an enhanced teenage assassin and agent but nevertheless he falls inlove with the kind hearted, funny and sweet girl that lays underneath the walls she has put up due to the years of hardship. And who knows maybe she will find her special someone... after all even assassins deserve to find love.
