She's a runaway princess kept locked up due to her father not liking the way she looks like her dead mother. After 18 years of physical and mental abuse from her father, stepmother, and step sisters, she runs away in hopes of finding a better life. After receiving new clothes, she makes her way to the neighboring kingdom going by a different name and new look. Her shy, meek personality changes when she meets everyone else's prince charming, Prince Sebastian, the first of his name; he brings her in as a servant after finding her on his kingdom's streets. He places her in the care of his sister to be her handmaiden. When sparks fly between the runaway princess and one of the siblings, everyone else will be baffled by who she chooses and when they find out who she really is. But what is the love she chooses at the end?

A general Hogwarts Legacy fanfic that leans heavily into Sebastian x Main Character. The story will include and go into some detail about the main game plot, some side quest spoilers.
