"You might as well kill me, this is a fate worse than death." Yasmine was barely 15 years of age when she was arranged to marry prince Bryce by her mother, queen of Thalise. Now, 2 years later the date of the wedding is approaching fast. Knowing she can't go through with it, Yasmine makes up an escape plan with the help of her best friend Mina. Yasmine and Mina leave the night before the wedding traveling to the reality Earth. Surely no one from Thalise would look for them in this bland reality. To be extra safe, Yasmine and Mina both assumed new identities beginning their new lives as average Earth teens. The two never would have guessed how hard adapting to Earth life would be. Juggling high school, work, and personal life does not come as an easy task. All the trouble will be worth it though to truly be free. Evie was the wild child of the bunch. She was always everywhere and doing everything, all so she could pour it into her writing. Being a writer was the dream she held since she was a child, but to be the best, she needed to make a name for herself. However the local scholarships were not enough to cover the costs of attending her dream school. Evie was determined to find a way to pay for her education, but she was running out of options. That was, until West came back. West was a childhood friend. They used to play together when they were kids, but as they grew older, they drifted apart and lost touch. It's been a couple of years since they had last seen each other, and when West randomly needed to stay at Evie's house for a few weeks, she wasn't sure what to expect. They each needed a plan to get what they wanted, and they each had what the other needed. It seemed like a win-win situation for both of them. Or so they thought that is until a an old fling reappears that could jeopardizes their deal. Will they be able to keep love out of this story?
