Calypso is summoned to Olympus, and is required to work for Hermes for two months as payment for her freedom, though that job comes with constantly being busy, so Leo can help but feel lonely. Even his friends had become too busy, Percy and Annabeth were busy with online school which they have been able to do from camp, Piper and Jason had become too lovey dovey (as Leo said) and Leo just felt like a third wheel. He couldn't iris message Frank to annoy him, since his job as Praetor kept him busy, and he tried to spend whatever free time he had with Hazel. speaking of Hazel, Leo couldn't speak with her either since she was either helping Frank with Praeter stuff, hanging out with Frank or kissing Frank. So with all the feelings of neglect, Leo slips back into his old habits and runs...runs away from everyone.

She has seen every crook and cranny of the dairy state, but after an accident, she finds herself in the state of New York. She lives with her grandma in a small house in the suburbs of Manhattan. Despite all she's been through, she loves living with the one person she felt closest to, away from trouble. Until now. Beth has grown up in the Windy City and stayed there for her whole life. Her mom has decided that going to New York for vacation would be a good idea. They're now staying in a hotel close to the beautiful sights of Long Island Sound and hopes to relax.
