Marya Maddox's best friend disappears suddenly after six years of being inseparable. Inconsolable and looking for direction, Marya tries to find her way in life once more. Upon deciding to become a cop and being turned away, Marya takes up vigilantism. In her new career she gets tangled into the Crime Busters. Fellow vigilante, Rorschach, seems awfully familiar. But he hates Marya's guts. No way it could be him.
We must live for we must also die. Love is of course worth everything but hard to find and near impossible to hold onto. Alas, to love is to live.
