On December 1st of James Potter's seventh year at Hogwarts, he thinks he's finally over the incredible Lily Evans, until he sees her. She rants to him about her boyfriend chosen by her parents, and a few days later, he proposes. Lily is given until Christmas day to decide whether or not she will say yes to his proposal, and James thinks that just might be enough time to win Lily over.
