It was cold.
That's all Bucky was able to register. The freezing wind biting into his already pale skin keeping him grounded, in control. Sane. The only comfort he had was himself.
2 years.
It's been 2 years since Steve snapped when Tony's broken body was left bleeding out in an abandoned building . 2 years since the people he thought were his family turned their nose up at him and left. 2 years since the man who the whole ordeal spiraled over ran back scraped him off the ground carried him to safety muttering apologies body quaking against Tony's form, the man cold yet comforting. 2 years since said man disappeared off the face of the earth leaving behind nothing but a simple letter. And 730 days that Tony has been searching.
And then there was Peter.
