The war drags on. There are heroes on both sides. But there does seem to be a lot more on the Republic's side. The Separatist armies and fleets are lead by what is supposedly, limitless legions of zealous lunatics, greedy politicians and careless droids. Under all this evil, greed and stupidity are a precious few honourable men and women who truly believe in the Separatist cause.

One such man was Zygerrian Fleet Admiral and Captain of the Cat's Paw: Zyne Trent. Feared by the republic, detested by his superiors and disrespected by his own daughter, it is Zyne's duty to navigate the endless galaxy of war and politics. And with the aid of his motley crew, his questionable allies and his own wits, attempt to win victory for the CIS cause.
