As Mariel got out of the building, heavy rain suddenly poured. Despite the cold wind and the gloomy atmosphere the rain brought, Mariel was smiling ear to ear as she looked at her professional identification card. It was a sight to see as if the lady was in her own world. Traffic lights turned green and as she took her fourth step on the pedestrian lane, a car with a broken brake hit her body and the car crashed at one of the electric posts. Rain poured and she could feel her blood trickling down from her forehead and back of her head. As if she knew that she's going to die, a smirk could be seen on her face before taking her last breath. That was what she thought, but turns out she possessed the body of a Duke's daughter from a historical setting world. Lilianne Marineau, aka Lili, a struggling writer like you and me, wakes up to find herself in the body of Arielle Dumont, the female protagonist in her own, half-written novel. What would happen next? She sure as hell doesn't know. At first, all Lili wants to do is survive, and is overcome with the feeling that she had been bound by chains of her own making. Soon enough, though, she realizes she had been atoning for the wrong thing--and maybe, just maybe it was not her fault. A story of a writer who has to live as a character in a world she hasn't quite fully developed yet. A terrible writer with terrible concepts of magic in a fantasy world--and yes, there are glitches. TW: anxiety/depression/existential crisis esp in the earlier chapters, but quite mild, nothing we all haven't experienced before (I think anyone would reasonably panic in MC's situation). Still overall fairly lighthearted
