Adrienne Kade is just about as normal as you can get.

Living in a small town in Maine, her only concerns seem to be winning the lacrosse tournament and dodging her relentless ex-boyfriend, Jasper. Soon though, it seems dodging him isn't the problem anymore... It's finding him.
With the news of Jasper's abduction startling the town, Adrienne learns he was dragged into the dense woods covering the whole north side of town.
Another problem? Everyone, sheriff included, refuses to go searching. After all, 'freaky' things happen there at night. So naturally, it's up to Adrienne with her friends, and a group of dangerous newcomers to save Jasper.
