After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart. Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. As always he can't seem to get away from Chuuya either with him being the focal point of every nightmare and it did have an impact on him. Dazai realises he in fact holds strong feelings for the short ginger man. Naturally, of course when one side of double black changes so does the other. All this while trying to deal with 7 missing people and 6 missing families is a lot to juggle. Dazai and Chuuya were best friends in high school for 2 years they started dating the second year of high school for 2 months. But they broke up because Chuuya wasn't in love with him. After they broke up Dazai moved away and they haven't been in contact since. But what if they both ended up in the same college and became roommates. As time went by they both started falling in love. But life isn't all sunshine and roses both have issues they have to face. These characters aren't mine they are all from Bungo Stray dogs in the anime. The ginger teased, a smile creeping slightly onto his face. - Chuuya, a well rounded individual who works multiple jobs to keep a living, meets a troubled brunette, Dazai. A man who no matter where he goes, somehow will find a way to pop up and cause him some trouble. Dazai can't help but drag the ginger into his life. (Or perhaps push his way into chuuya's.) Causing Chuuya to test how long it will take for him to have enough of Dazai and his trouble filled life. Though despite what he says, he secretly loves the trouble Dazai brings. The trouble that makes him feel human. And seeing Chuuya feel and act human, and seeing someone finally accept him, for him, sparks the feeling of being human in Dazai as well, a feeling he never knew was possible for his broken body. - All characters belong to their rightful owners!-Concluida

Will Dazai and his big-brain figure out how to bring Chuuya back from that endless prison? And what is going to happen with the two of them once everything goes back to normal? The story takes place after season 3 (no spoilers from the manga) It's all my own headcanons of what happens after season 3.
