{Complete}

Throw in two best friends, a home-schooled newbie, a curly-haired boy, a jokester, a walking encyclopedia, an odd classmate, a diva, a complainer, a very eccentric teacher, and a couple other students and what do you get?

A very dysfunctional high school orchestra.

Based on a true story and told between two friends, this orchestra can't get along, but issues aside, they can play wonderfully together.

After all, enemies can't make music with each other, or can they?

~~~~~
This was written thanks to my best friend at the time inspiring me to put my crazy tale of a year down on paper. A majority of this did actually occur during my school year. Sadly, Orchestra programs are disappearing from schools but we won the right to keep ours and get more funding. I met my best friends through this program and kept my love for music alive. Thank you for reading.
Growing Pains
79 parts Complete
In the day-to-day trenches of high school, it is almost the default-setting to believe we are the main character of our own coming-of-age story. This is not wrong. It's just ours isn't the only story there is. The jocks, the nerds, the cheerleaders, the losers, the stoners, the fangirls, the skaters. Everyone's the realest most important person in existence, all of them, at the same time, first-person narrators to their own stories, stumbling into each other's plot lines, defying the status-quo, catalysts to ups and downs. A deconstruction of all the high school tropes and cliches written over the years, a deep-dive into the psyche of students trying to finish high school while going through irrevocable self-discovery, the most improbable of connections, and the insufferable pains of growing up.
