The legend of Jiansu and Akira continues as they fight to take down the tyrannical Earth Empire. With the disappearance of General Nasim, Emperor Gansu appoints a powerful new warrior to take his place and bring an end to the Avatar's rebellion. What's more, an enemy from the past returns from the shadows to pay the Avatar back for what they did to them.
 
Meanwhile, the Fire Nation descends into chaos as its ruler is ousted by a vengeful and power hungry foe. Can Yasmin manage to come to terms with her own inner demons and successfully defeat the Usurper to save both her nation AND her newfound family, or will she inevitably be forced to choose between them? 

Lastly, tensions rise in the Southern Water Tribe as a young man must reluctantly take his place in history and uphold his family's legacy. Can he get to the bottom of a double assassination attempt, facing a secret society, a Bloodbender, and even his own father, or will the son of Avatar Korra let his legacy, and his tribe, down? 

As powerful forces collide, empires will fall.

The Legend Reborn is a story I wrote in late 2014 about the Avatar after Korra. After the release of the Legend of Korra follow up comics I went back and added references to the events of the comics but didn't change my story. Following the 2021 announcement of Avatar Studios I decided to share my ideas since it's very possible Bryke could decide to continue the Avatar Cycle and render my story implausible. I hope they instead decide to go backwards (possibly a Kyoshi series) since there are also many other great fan projects that would be rendered implausible by a Korra sequel (notably The Legend of Genji, a project very different from my own but has my respect and admiration). But who am I to disagree with what Mike and Bryan do with their own fantastic universe. Five years have passed since the defeat of Phynix King Ozai. The Avatar and his friends have been invited by Firelord Zuko as guests for the five year anaversery of the end of the 100 year war. Although peace has been achived for some time now. Theres no doubt others would perfer to be at war. And when unbalance comes knocking. The avatar must awnser. But just like peace of nations can be broken into bitter rivalry. So can familys. And when both is disturbed. Can the avatar balance both. Or will one or the other, maybe both... slip? New chapter whenever really. Usually a week. Sometimes two a week, sometimes one every other week. Chapters usually very in size. From 2000-4500 words usually. Some special chapters can be about 8000 or more. I never stop updating the chapters. So dont worry if a chapter takes too long. I wont quit this project. And if I do I will let you know swiftly. But that wont happen cause I wont quit. But be sure to bookmark so you can get updates and leave comments saying what you liked and didnt like in the chapter. If I want to improve im gonna need cryticism.

There the Avatar struggles with the stubborn element while the Akira struggles with her own inner turmoil. Free to make her own choices for the first time ever, Aelita finds herself in a near-constant battle with her inner demons. The life she once knew is long gone and the girl she once was has slowly been dying ever since that fateful night in Spirit Oasis. Shukaku said she and Aang would know when the world needed a warrior or a pacifist, but the signs are far from easy to read. But Aelita Kensin isn't the only one with demons. Walking away from the girl that used to be his peace and seeing his throne slip from his fingers has left Zuko resentful and hurt. If this was his rock bottom, he wasn't sure there was any climbing up. With fire quickly breathing down his neck the banished Prince must decide who he wants to be before the choice is made for him. Everything the Fire Lord worked so hard for was steadily being destroyed by a little girl. One son was a failure, his only brother a traitor, the Avatar a threat and Aelita Kenshin a problem he should've dealt with long ago. Admiral Zhao's loss at the North Pole was the first major defeat the Fire Nation ever had under Ozai's rule and he swore he'd stop at nothing to make sure it was his last. The people of the Earth Kingdom are diverse and strong. More determined than ever the team is ready to dig their heels in, prepared to face the war and any new challenges head on.
