The first thing I noticed about Lolkais where the trees, if that was an accurate word to describe them. They could be trees, if trees stood 120 feet tall and had a base of about 40 feet around ,but that wasn't the weirdest thing about them. The trees where shades of pastels ,but so was mostly everything here, and they seemed to illuminate the ground beneath them with a dream like glow. The second thing I noticed was the lack of a central light source. the entire world seemed to be glowing, but there was no sun. When we first arrived I thought it must be night ,but the farther we walked the more I realized it couldn't have been with the amount of life happening around me. The gravel path we'd been following was slowly leading into a civilization of people that resembled Tyler, who was stood next to me.

"Something's wrong." he declared and pulled away. Lucy looked down and sat straight in her chair. She opened her mouth but didn't say anything. She knew she couldn't spill. But how could she not tell him when he made talking to him so easy? She frowned and thought about it for a moment. "I get these...dreams." she said after a minute, softly. "They're nightmares, actually." Tyler nodded and encouraged her to continue. "They're terrifying. They keep me up at night and they make me paranoid during the day. They make me feel bad about myself, and..." Lucy paused. "They feel so real." she said, finishing her sentence in a whisper. *** Lucy's keeping a dark secret. It's ruining her life, and she doesn't know what to do. Will Tyler run away if he ever gets to know who she really is? Can anyone ever forgive her for what she's done? How is she supposed to live with herself after what happened? As she tries to figure the mess she's made out, time passes and she's got more and more to lose.
