Steve had a load of nicknames: King Steve, The King of Hawkins High, Steve the Hair-Harrington. Most of them revolved around royalty. Mostly because Steve was rich and got whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. Hence, giving him the reputation of a spoiled brat. Steve was almost like your typical 80s movie antagonist. The jerk. The bully. And so on.

While Dustin on the other hand was... not much, actually. The only people who actually knew him were his friends and their siblings and parents. But, Dustin was an absolute chatterbox. Whenever there was talking to be done, Dustin would do the most of it. Though he was loud (and obnoxious at times), he was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. With a big personality and a heart of gold, you couldn't help but smile when you looked at the kid. Especially with his red white and blue baseball cap that was practically glued to his curly head.

And yet, somehow, the universe had found a way to pair the two boys together only to blossom an unexpected friendship that would be way more than the two thought.
