This story is a Steve x oc fem. But at first it's mainly following the friendship of Eddie and the main girl. Steve is just mentioned at times. He becomes the leading man after the whole Vecna awfulness. I will make this into 3 parts; Part 1 Friends and enemies, Part 2 Death and destruction, Part 3 Heartbreak and Love Emma moves with her dad all the way from Sweden to Indiana in the United states. In the small town of Hawkins she's new to school and feels like a freak. She befriends the outgoing Eddie Munson and he becomes the best friend she could have ever dreamt of. She loves him like the brother she's never had. But seeing as something's weird in this small town she's dragged in to events leading to Eddie's death. Emma doesn't know how to deal with life anymore, how do you go on when your best friend in the whole world dies? Well, you could always fall in love with the one guy you swore you'd never ever be more than a hook-up to. The one who helps you cope with Eddie's horrible faith, because he's equally heartbroken over it. This takes place during and after the events of Vecna's curse. This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old.
