It took two summers.
Two long, miserable summers of knees brushing together, of fingers "accidentally" overlapping in the clammy darkness of a movie theater, of barely-masked, barely contained flirting for Alberto Scorfano to finally stop pretending. In Massimo's attic, with barely a week left until Luca and Giulia take the train back to school, Alberto finally works up the courage to tell Luca how he feels about him.
It goes... better than Alberto expected.
