Holly Leia is immortal, she can't die even if she wanted to. She knows she'll outlive any friends or lovers she has, she's been all on her own so she doesn't have to feel the pain of losing someone. Though she's a siren, she lives a normal life on land. She has a job, hobbies, a pet cat.
She was lonely until she found a basket with a baby inside.
She raised this child and watched it grow and unfortunately die. But after the loss of that child, she finds another one, and the cycle repeats.
Each child is a reincarnation of the last, and Holly takes in and loves all of them. Though they are reincarnations of the same person, they're all different and special in their own ways and Holly loves each one unconditionally. Child after child, life after life.
Possible trigger warning for death. Each incarnation dies differently, and there will be specific trigger warnings in certain chapters for sensitive subjects the chapter may have. This is my first original story on wattpad, I hope you enjoy.

'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!"
