Disclaimer: *This is my first time every using wattpad and the only story I have written for myself* I was assigned to write a metaphoric essay about a trauma from my past for an English course that I took 2 years ago. I thought I would share it as others with any form of shitty experiences would understand, and I just really felt the need to bring it out to the world. 

Summary:
A young man is expected to undergo, The Connection, an experience that brings him closer to the spirit world, his ancestors, and most importantly himself. While doing so, he must accept all parts of his being and face the one memory that plagues his dreams.
