Avi begins the story very lost and confused about his magical gift.  One moment, he is dealing with demons and the judgment his older brother, Capri Veda; the next, his older brother is dragging him to see another seer (Kenai) able to fix Avi.

The curious, adventurous Aveiro Veda knows that his crazy life is over. The scary demon Avi once befriend is taking over his mind, but the last thing on his mind is more change.
