Beyond the after life, there is a place were everything started and where everything ends up.
The Void
This place is said to be where the gods themselves were born. Their creators able to forge reality and birth gods became known as the Children of The Void, some claim they don't exist, that the gods were the ones to make reality.
But, it is the twins known as Life And Death that manage the creations. In this they created The Veil, a place in between.
Once every few Milennia they select a human. They imbue them with power beyond that of any God. They are the Osiris. The king of the dead.
A new Cycle has started, An Osiris is born, although this time He's a little bit different.
