Cordelia Anais Bales is a sweet, kind and a very friendly girl but underneath all that lays a misunderstood, rebellious, sarcastic and problematic girl. She is only 17 and doesn't have any friends, nor feels compassionate for people. She lacks of emotions and lies pathologically. It's even rumored around town that she set her house on fire with her parents inside, when she was only 9. Her life makes a drastic turn, when she meets Alexei Greenwood, the typical stereotype of a Popular Quarterback. He is someone who can look past the mask she wears but is intrigued and will not let himself give up.
