Harry was, to put it mildly, nervous when he was asked to tutor a student from Professor Slughorn in History Of Magic, but he had tried to keep positive.

"I'm your History Of Magic tutor." Harry told the Slytherin boy, sitting down cautiously. 

The boy nodded and sat down nervously. "My name is Alabaster Jackson." 

Oh.

Jackson.

Of course, out of all the students - out of all the Slytherins he would be asked to tutor, it would have to be the person who was related to Theodore Jackson.


With their first year complete, Jasper Odair and Harry Warbeck head home with the idea that summer would go well. Harry was back home with his parents, and Jasper...well he finally felt confident that he had a solution to his not-so-great home life. Things were looking up, and the second year couldn't be too bad, right? With the excitement of the American school Ilvermorny visiting for an All-Star Quidditch game, things couldn't go too horribly, right? 

Well, that was until the two of them both found themselves in a situation with a Slytherin; a Slytherin named Alabaster Jackson who was finally allowed to explore the world around him. To him, that was supposed to be exciting, but all he felt was anxiety and confusion. His parents couldn't be involved with a man who was a killer, right?

She can't quite put her finger on what has started changing, but something certainly has, and love may not be enough to get her through it this time. It is only a matter of time before Marlene must make the most important choice of all; join the war or fall apart.

The moment she had stepped feet into the castle of Hogwarts, students feared her position. She was tired, she was so bloody tired of it all. From the constant nagging and picking and pulling to the waking up at 6 am everyday to do that stupid crap. She didn't think it was stupid really, she just didn't like having to do it. She didn't really like having to do schoolwork either, but she found herself to be fond of the teachers and the curriculums. Most of all though, she didn't mind being at school all too much because it kept her away from the house. She found James to be nice, and Sirius to be troublesome, Peter was quite thoughtful, but Remus, he was kind to her. She had found that Remus was her favorite of them all, he was really very kind to her. What she had really come to see though, was the fact that he had scars too, and that meant they matched. Mature content. There are certain parts of this story that I will put a trigger warning before but you should keep cautioun when reading because I mention a lot of triggering things and topics in this book including self harm, abuse, mental illnesses etc. Also, the first year is really shitty writing and like the first part of fourth but I swear it gets so much better. I just haven't gotten around to editing the bad bits yet :( Credit to J.K. Rowling for the characters and parts of the plot and obviously Hogwarts fandom and Everything Harry Potter related. But, credit to J.K. Rowling. I mean- for everything other than my plots and characters too so.
