*This series in the process of being rewritten.*

Harry was, to put it mildly, nervous when he was asked to tutor a student from Professor Slughorn in History Of Magic, but he had tried to keep positive.

"I'm your History Of Magic tutor." Harry told the Slytherin boy, sitting down cautiously.

The boy nodded and sat down nervously. "My name is Alabaster Jackson."

Oh.

Jackson.

Of course, out of all the students - out of all the Slytherins he would be asked to tutor, it would have to be the person who was related to Theodore Jackson.

With their first year complete, Jasper Odair and Harry Warbeck head home with the idea that summer would go well. Harry was back home with his parents, and Jasper...well he finally felt confident that he had a solution to his not-so-great home life. Things were looking up, and the second year couldn't be too bad, right? With the excitement of the American school Ilvermorny visiting for an All-Star Quidditch game, things couldn't go too horribly, right?

Well, that was until the two of them both found themselves in a situation with a Slytherin; a Slytherin named Alabaster Jackson who was finally allowed to explore the world around him. To him, that was supposed to be exciting, but all he felt was anxiety and confusion. His parents couldn't be involved with a man who was a killer, right?

"Merry meet. I am Cordelia of the Most Inbreded and Snobbish House of Rosier." Contrary to popular belief, Sirius Black wasn't the biggest disgrace. No, that title rightfully belonged to Cordelia Rosier. (Secretly, of course). ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In the Rosier household, words such as 'blood-traitor' and 'muggle-lover' is spat on with hatred. There is no bigger betrayal than thinking that the 'mud-bloods' are worth having magic. By the age of seven, Cordelia Rosier was quite sure that she was one of the blood-traitors that her family detests. Don't get her wrong, she loves her family with all her heart, soul and being and she wouldn't trade her parents and older brother for anything in the world, but there are just a few things that she doesn't necessarily agree on with them. Opinions on blood-purity happen to be one of them. That doesn't mean she'll admit to them about it though. Like she mentioned, she loves her family and she doesn't want to disappoint them. But there is no reason she can't do both, right? Surely, there must be some way that she doesn't have to make it publicly known about her thoughts on blood-purity while still keeping true to her personal beliefs, right? When Cordelia met Sirius Black one evening, there couldn't have been two children who became faster friends. Join Cordelia as she navigates through school and life in general, discovering the true meaning of deception as she plays a game of 'blood-traitor, 'blood-traitor not' with everybody and realises the difference between 'want to' and 'have to' But that all comes much later. After all, she's currently only a first-year, and right now, there are more important things to worry about like classes, homework and why somebody is trying to kill all the Hufflepuffs. "So we're alone," he said slowly. "That's a thoughtful observation," she whispered. She could feel her fingertips tremble slightly as they clasped around his hair. She didn't know why she suddenly felt so nervous. She moved her hands and allowed her fingers to trail slowly and gently down the side of his face and he involuntarily shivered at her touch. Eventually her fingers landed on his lips and she traced across them softly. They parted slightly and she could hear and feel him let out what she assumed to be an unintentional breath. He moved inwards, his lips pulling from her fingertips to hover near her ear. "I'm a thoughtful person." * After getting accepted into the Healer training program and moving to London, Marlene begins her life outside of Hogwarts. Despite the looming dangers of war, she has a pretty decent life; she has friends who care about her, a boyfriend who loves her, and the determination to keep fighting for a life worth living. But it doesn't take long for Marlene to begin questioning her choices. As the world is falling apart around her, so are her relationships and any certainty that she once had. Except for Sirius; the only certainty she has left in the world. However, war only seems to be threatening to tear them apart. She can't quite put her finger on what has started changing, but something certainly has, and love may not be enough to get her through it this time. It is only a matter of time before Marlene must make the most important choice of all; join the war or fall apart.
The Heirs of The Noble House of Black by PinkLemonade28x

Tom Riddle love story set in the Marauders Era. The era of the marauders is a time of drastic societal change within the wizarding world. The 60's and 70's are a time of strife as squib protests commence and pure blood riots fight back in an attempt to maintain the social hierarchy which has always kept them on top. However, the difficult times are not only laced into the fabric of British wizarding society, as unrest is beginning to take place from within the castle walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Many of the pureblood students echo the traditional sentiments of their parents, so what will happen when a talented young first year by the name of Tom Riddle joins the school? Will he travel down the path that we know of him and become the feared Lord Voldemort, or will the offer of friendship and love from the students of the marauders era be enough to sway him from his destiny? Follow Lyra Black (original character) and the rest of the next generation of The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black (Bellatrix, Sirius, Andromeda, Narcissa and Regulus) as they attend Hogwarts. As they struggle through familial control and expectations, changes within their society, love, friendship, house rivalries and their own inner demons, will the heirs of the Black line be able to maintain their once strong familial bonds as they get pulled in different directions? This story deviates from the original timelines of the Harry Potter series in order to accommodate many of the characters that we know and love (or love to hate)! Lots of characters are brought together within the space of a few years, so their birth years will not be accurate. Also there are some other changes, such as age of attendance to Hogwarts beginning at 15 (and ending at 22) because I didn't want to write about 11 year olds! ;) This story is based off the Harry Potter series and all rights belong to J.K. Rowling. I only own Lyra Black, other original characters and original plot lines.
