Harry was, to put it mildly, nervous when he was asked to tutor a student from Professor Slughorn in History Of Magic, but he had tried to keep positive.

"I'm your History Of Magic tutor." Harry told the Slytherin boy, sitting down cautiously. 

The boy nodded and sat down nervously. "My name is Alabaster Jackson." 

Oh.

Jackson.

Of course, out of all the students - out of all the Slytherins he would be asked to tutor, it would have to be the person who was related to Theodore Jackson.


With their first year complete, Jasper Odair and Harry Warbeck head home with the idea that summer would go well. Harry was back home with his parents, and Jasper...well he finally felt confident that he had a solution to his not-so-great home life. Things were looking up, and the second year couldn't be too bad, right? With the excitement of the American school Ilvermorny visiting for an All-Star Quidditch game, things couldn't go too horribly, right? 

Well, that was until the two of them both found themselves in a situation with a Slytherin; a Slytherin named Alabaster Jackson who was finally allowed to explore the world around him. To him, that was supposed to be exciting, but all he felt was anxiety and confusion. His parents couldn't be involved with a man who was a killer, right?

When Cordelia met Sirius Black one evening, there couldn't have been two children who became faster friends. Join Cordelia as she navigates through school and life in general, discovering the true meaning of deception as she plays a game of 'blood-traitor, 'blood-traitor not' with everybody and realises the difference between 'want to' and 'have to' But that all comes much later. The boy was panting like he was running from something. The boy turned to Jasper. He stared at him for a few moments. Will this person tell me to get lost, too? Jasper thought. Instead, the boy asked, "Can I sit with you?" Jasper nodded eagerly. The boy went, sat across from him, and sat crossed legged on the seat. "What's your name?" "I'm Jasper Odair." The boy nodded. "My name is Harry." Jasper Odair and Harry Warbeck begin their first year at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was tired, she was so bloody tired of it all. From the constant nagging and picking and pulling to the waking up at 6 am everyday to do that stupid crap. She didn't think it was stupid really, she just didn't like having to do it. She didn't really like having to do schoolwork either, but she found herself to be fond of the teachers and the curriculums. Most of all though, she didn't mind being at school all too much because it kept her away from the house. She found James to be nice, and Sirius to be troublesome, Peter was quite thoughtful, but Remus, he was kind to her. She had found that Remus was her favorite of them all, he was really very kind to her. What she had really come to see though, was the fact that he had scars too, and that meant they matched. Mature content. There are certain parts of this story that I will put a trigger warning before but you should keep cautioun when reading because I mention a lot of triggering things and topics in this book including self harm, abuse, mental illnesses etc. Also, the first year is really shitty writing and like the first part of fourth but I swear it gets so much better. I just haven't gotten around to editing the bad bits yet :( Credit to J.K. Rowling for the characters and parts of the plot and obviously Hogwarts fandom and Everything Harry Potter related. But, credit to J.K. Rowling. I mean- for everything other than my plots and characters too so.

Greek mythology wise, Serpens constellation represents a giant snake held by the healer Asclepius. Asclepius was the son of the god Apollo who was said to be able to bring people back to life with his healing powers. Unlike and Like , it all connected to Flames and a Phoenix. The moment she had stepped feet into the castle of Hogwarts, students feared her position. So what would happen if one day, the girl who had fought tooth and nail to become the Head Girl, an ice cold Slytherin, would be tricked and sent ten years in the future? Much to her dislike and much to a group of four's amusement, right in the middle of Marauders' seventh year.

However, the difficult times are not only laced into the fabric of British wizarding society, as unrest is beginning to take place from within the castle walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Many of the pureblood students echo the traditional sentiments of their parents, so what will happen when a talented young first year by the name of Tom Riddle joins the school? Will he travel down the path that we know of him and become the feared Lord Voldemort, or will the offer of friendship and love from the students of the marauders era be enough to sway him from his destiny? Also there are some other changes, such as age of attendance to Hogwarts beginning at 15 (and ending at 22) because I didn't want to write about 11 year olds! ;) This story is based off the Harry Potter series and all rights belong to J.K. Avery Dessen didn't like a lot of things. Mostly she didn't like the Marauders, History of Magic, and her grandmother, Millicent Bagnold. About to start her fifth year at Hogwarts, Avery thinks her year will go the same as it has the past four. So, when she opens her Hogwarts letter three weeks before the term starts and sees a small blue badge fall out, she freezes. Being a prefect was not part of her plan, reading that all prefects would be staying in a special common room was not part of her plan, and knowing that every day she'd have to see a marauder was NOT part of her plan.
