The Lovers (Johnny Silverhand X Male V)

V collapsed as he dove through the doors of the Arasaka Laboratory hidden deep under it's tower, his body hurt. he could feel himself slipping the more he fought. but he continued his path towards Mikoshi. "V, shoot the lock on this door." Johnny commanded, even though the bot Alt took control of lead him further down the hallway.

trusting his friend, he shot the lock and kicked the thick glass door in. rows of metal tubes with small windows met him on the other side. noticing the cold temperature of the room, he realized just what these tubes were. "a cryogenic lab?" he said to himself, looking in through each little window. there must have been at least fifty chambers, a body in each one. but looking down towards the end of the long walkway, he realized there was a much larger chamber facing him. the 51st chamber, and what seemed to be the oldest. wiping away the frost from the glass window, V Jumped back on shock.

"you were right.. they didn't bury me."
