A young seemingly human girl is taken under the care of the king and his wife, the unusual little girl able to breathe under water and survive in the ocean, they choose to raise her as their ward alongside their seven daughters.

Kenzie lives here life alongside the daughters, being raised by the king and queen, until a horrible accident involving a pirate ship unfolds and kills Queen Athena, leading the kingdom into a dark era.

years later, Kenzie becomes the personal guard of the eldest daughter, Attina, while also protecting all seven girls, her main priority is to Attina.

she also has a deep dislike of the girl's Governess Marina, often butting heads with the old cow.

she still regained her close friendship with the Kings daughters since their childhood, even growing to hate humans herself as they tore her new family apart.

Attina also gains worry for her friend, the girl having never told anyone other than the King and Queen about her past, hoping one day, Kenzie will open up to her as well.
