Attempting to escape from the Decepticon Justice Brigade sent after them following desertion, the crew of a heavily-damaged cargo ship managed to just barely survive shockspacing to the other side of the galaxy. The gravitational pull of an unknown, nearby planet drags the drained ship into its atmosphere and into a forest filled with nightmarish creatures they've never seen before. Crossing paths with warriors-in-training sent to investigate their arrival, the demoralized renegades learn that they've stumbled into a world with an evil almost as old as their own race.
