He was there, standing in front me.
He's looking at me, gaze as cold as ever and made me weak, not enough to stand. I finally fell on my knees. I held it well until now.
I knew it. It was confusing why, but I finally got it. The gaze that avoided me for years, the gaze I never longed for. His gaze was enough to make me realize it was okay to crumble in front of him.
I cried my eyes out.
He never said a word, but that was the comfort I never knew I needed.
"Thank you. And I am sorry, you had to see me like this." I told him.
"Stick to one. If you're thankful, just be thankful." He said.
He turned his back on me. He looked up.
"I'd love to see what happens next."
He walked away.
