Five cousins choose to spend their summer break in a village called Ravenwood where they are to reside in a cabin surrounded by nothing but woods and secrets for at least two weeks.

Not only this, the village and the cabin have a dark past of its own...and present too. The latter one quite literally since the devil has itself decided to lurk the hallways of their cabin leaving them to choose between their own survival and each other's.

Bloodshed, demons, ghosts, murders, gore and superstitions with tiny bits of romance, friendships and family love: CURSED is a mixture of all the kinds of emotions and genres you can think of.

Bang bang!

I stood up from the water slowly and steadily trying not to trip and picked up the towel, wrapping myself in it immediately. The water was dripping wherever I went and with my back at the door, I frantically stepped backwards and reached the doorknob from behind, turning it to the left to open, all while not letting my eyes stray away from the window. I turned and turned, but it didn't open. My eyes went wide when realisation struck in.

I WAS TRAPPED.

I rattled through my brain, trying to find a way, trying to think how I can keep fighting because no matter what the situation is, still I didn't want to lose, my eyes stuck on the redness of the thing on my window. The bathroom was on the second floor. There was no way, it was a person; and that's what scared me the most.

And then suddenly, I heard a click.

((This is targeted to people 16+)) The smell of blood was overwhelming. The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. The pain only got worse when he felt the killer tug harshly, pulling his flesh out... ----- A gang of delinquents becomes lost in a forest, pursued by a frightening masked figure. He hunts them down individually, resembling a stalking wolf, wielding a crude knife fashioned from animal bones. As they struggle to survive, the teens also grapple with the harsh environment that challenges them. Throughout their ordeal, they discover more about one another, forming deeper connections as they begin to share their lives with one another. ----- ⚠️ WARNINGS ⚠️: - Gore, violent description of violence, - Cannibalism(not shown but alluded), - Death, - Descriptions of PTSD and trauma, - Abusive parents, mistreatment of children, - Foul, harmful language, - Nothing is real, this is a work of fiction,

"THE AFTERLIFE CAN BE A REAL BITCH, RIGHT?" "Henri-" I began, but Henri's hand snatched up mine and squeezed tightly enough to break bones. I bit my tongue to hold back a cry. It was a warning. "Maria didn't say anything about a couple of vampires wanting to meet with her," the green-haired warlock spoke after the area had stilled with electrified silence. I looked Henri's way, and that's really when our situation caught up with me. Wait... "Maria..." I murmured in remembrance, then sent Henri a glare. "Why are we here to see Maria Day? If you don't remember, let me remind you that I killed her friend. Hell, her master. She'll kill me when she sees me." Henri had the nerve to laugh softly. "You're already dead, Antoinette." "Thanks to you. There are other ways witches can hurt vampires, aren't there?" My eyes traveled shortly to the warlocks, Daniel and Zachary, and I shook my head. "She'll burn me alive! I'm not going in there." "You're overacting," Henri said with a dramatic eye roll with a worth of a slap across his face. Lucky for him, I kept my hands at my sides. This night was about to get dangerous... This is Book 3 of The Hunters Saga! 1st draft, so there WILL be mistakes! "Three weeks. That's how long I got to have drama-free. I'm not sure what is happening to me or to Oakwood. Nothing's the same since I rolled into town and it just keeps getting weirder. Suspicious agents in suits roam the streets without an explanation. They're staring straight at me. The new Chemistry teacher is NOT who he says he is. I'm doing things I never thought I could. Like, mutant-level things... Lauren, Luc's dead twin sister, hid something from everyone. Something important that may have lead to her demise and that could lead to ours. Hunters are in town. I never knew four words could contain so much dread and terror. I'd rather deal with the Wanderers. I'm on the brink of a breakdown. I need help..." BOOK #2 IN THE SERIES! Ignorance is not bliss... In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. Riley's life is yet again in jeopardy, but this time she's not alone. Luc and his family are all thrown into the teetering balance. More secrets are uncovered. A trap dawns on them all. Invisible threats start crawling from all directions. Who is the real enemy? TW : behaviours of depression and PTSD are displayed. I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense. Rewriting specifications : the main points of the story and end of the book will remain the same, am just going to change a few ways of getting there and adding some extra spice. Feel free to pause the read until the REWRITING sign disappears.

"I am visiting under unusual circumstances. I won't bore you with the details but I have lost something of mine and I was hoping you could help me find it." " I'm sure I can help you find whatever you need." He was slightly confused. "But what exactly have you lost?" "My mate." Silence. "Does she know you are looking for her?" "Oh yes, she knows." Camila started choking on her food. She tried to maintain her spluttering so she wouldn't draw attention to herself. Taine noticed and decided to keep going. His eyes bored into her. "She actually decided to run from me... I don't know if she was a coward or just too weak and selfish to even consider giving me chance." She threw her cutlery down and stood up, leaning over the table. Her teeth were bared and a low growl emitted from the back of her throat. She felt hairs rising on her arms and neck. Usually even-tempered, she was now bubbling with rage. Taine didn't react well to her growl and mirrored her pose. He was trying to put her in her place, into submission. She was not having it. --- Destiny's collide, they crash and they scar. Rough seas, tidal waves, fighting for dominance in an ocean so deep... Despite the viscous ink of lies and deceit, secrets, sins one breath from leaving the lips. Love is the serenity that can calm all storms and transform all hardened hearts. For to love is to be set free from all shackles that bind you to the darkness. Whether it is the red string of fate or the curse of the moon, you cannot hide from your destiny. IT WILL FIND YOU. So...will you fight it?

'"What are you doing here?!" I scolded. "What are you doing here?!" Hunter said. "You didn't answer my question!" I said to him. He looked at me and I knew what was coming next. He suddenly turned from furious to comforting. "What's is this place?" He whispered and opened his arms. I examined him cautiously before breaking and running into his arms. I cried against his strong build. He stroked my hair and whispered repetitively, "Its ok. I'm here now. Don't worry. I'm all yours."' Everyone has to start somewhere. My life started without a dad. People change their minds and people make mistakes. My mom did just that when she left me at four years old with my Great Aunt Lorie. I know where my mom lives, but I wish I didn't. Don't get me wrong, I still love her to death, but sometimes...forgiveness...is hard to give out...to everyone. 'I jumped over the river that I had never crossed before. I heard my mom calling my name behind me, but I ignored her. Tears streamed down my face. Now, on the other side of the river, I was in a forest, jumping over logs and fallen tree trunks, pushing leaves out of my face. I stopped when I finally felt fully isolated. I sat down on a small rock and cried and cried and cried. I guess this is where I will stay for now. I guess these are just my woods for now. Just my woods for now.'
