Yasmine is eigenlijk maar half mens, de andere helft weet ze niet. Ze ziet vaak dingen die er wel zijn maar je eigenlijk niet kunt zien, ze ruikt dingen die je eigenlijk niet kunt ruiken. Ook kan ze, als ze wil de wereld stil zetten. opeens hoort ze een stem. maar ze had de wereld net stil gezet... wie zou het kunnen zijn? in ieder geval geen mens van vlees en bloed...
het verhaal speelt zich af in het nu. Het zou nooit in het echt kunnen gebeuren... of toch wel?
