Cora had always felt things more than others. Oftentimes it was just the little things but eventually her intuition became stronger.
One day, on a school trip to an old museum, Cora saw something she was never suppose to see. Never.
She angered something that day, and from then on she was haunted by it. or was she haunted? Maybe she just knew something that she didn't want to face.

Under The Bed
As a child you always fear the monster under your bed or in your closet. Maybe you watched a scary movie or were told a horror story to make you believe something was under there. You jump onto your bed and jerk your limbs away from the edge or always shut your closet door. Then you hide under the covers in hopes that they don't get to you. As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. His voice dripped with temptation that would make the devil jealous. His lips were brushing against mine as we leaned into each other. I felt like I was drowning in his presence. The hand that was on my breast had moved to my waist, keeping me close even as I tipped towards him. His hand was still on my sex, leisurely teasing the area. "Please," I whispered. Something mixed between a growl and a purr escaped him. It vibrated deeply from his chest. I thought he would kiss me but he didn't. His lips hovered over mine before they softly traced my cheek. I gasped when his hands moved to under my arms, moving me until I straddled his thigh.Complete

"Show us," he said. I knelt to complete the circle, taking out the cards and shuffling them. Alexander snorted and snatched the cards out of my hands to shuffle them himself. "I got it, drunk girl." "I am not," I said, tugging on the cards. My fingers tangled with his. He let them go. I distributed the cards among us, my hair swinging as I leaned forward to give them their share. I tucked it behind my ears. They watched me quietly. I could hear the party outside my room, a muffled shouting beat, but we were safe in my room.Complete

In one swift movement of my hand I reached behind Sapphire's neck and released her hair from the low ponytail it was in. She gasped at my action and looked at me with feverish eyes. I thought I saw the colour gold flicker in her eyes, for a few seconds before I lifted my hand near her face and tucked a strand of her wavy hair behind her ear, before I said: "I fell in love with you, the first second I saw you reading that Tolstoy book in the library." She looked up at me, her warm beige skin looked like it was glowing now and she said with pure sincerity in her eyes "per sempre, in ogni dimensione, per sempre in ogni vita, solo tu fino al mio ultimo respiro amore mio" It meant (Forever, in every dimension, forever in every life, only you until my last breath, my love) I snaked my hands around her waist and pulled her close to me. Before kissing her the way I wanted to all this time, i looked into her eyes and said "Me too my love, me too." My first novel is about soulmates. And reincarnation. About, how many bodies a soul has to live in before they finally become their true selves. And before they finally get to be with their soulmate. It's about how love has so many faces. It's about how we never know what roads life will force us to cross. And what emotions we will be gifted to feel. And the things we're blessed with that sometimes we neglect. It's about giving yourself the time to grow and evolve before you give yourself to someone completely. And it's about not to take the love you have in your life for granted.Complete

A happy childhood, a so-so adolescence. Then adulthood arrived, and everything went to hell. And by everything, I mean it. Grown-up life is truly a wonderful, dazzling adventure! A job that drains your soul, stripping away any will to live while fueling a more or less justified homicidal instinct; depression knocking at the door with a lovely bouquet of red roses and, last but not least, the remnants of a social life buried somewhere under my shoes. Not the ones I'm wearing now; those are slippers, big difference. I mean the pretty ones in the cabinet that I haven't touched in five years. Love can be destructive. It catches you, ensnares you, devours you, and if you're unlucky enough, it leaves you standing in nothing but your underwear before reducing you to ashes. I had made peace with my "and she lived single, forever unhappy but safe" fate. A house, one, four, eight, maybe twenty cats and a future as flat as a heart monitor that's given up the ghost. No joys, minimal suffering, because there's only so much a heart can take before it calls it quits. And honestly? Fuck it, I'd been through enough. ... But he changed everything. In the worst, most terrifying way possible. From this abyss, I may never climb back out.

Her new companion, Kaulder, has set out on a mission to restore her memory and save her from these awful men. Giving the lost girl a name and companionship. He shows her the glimmering world around as they head off on a mission to find a seer to bring back what she had lost. He hoped this creature could heal her broken memory. But at what cost?
