There are ways of dying that do not end with a funeral. Types of deaths you can't see, feel or smell. Because death, just like love, has a mind of its own and some things can't be prevented.

What started as an innocent high school quest in search of truth and revenge quickly turned into something entirely else.

Something that Aspen Cornwell never anticipated. Something that shatters her entire reality, leaving her without an idea what to do next. She has lost almost everything that mattered to her so losing herself doesn't really make that much of a difference to her.

When Collin Adamms returns back with a new dose of truth about what really happened to Courtney Chapel, alongside with his new-found memory that he lost due to his temporary retrograde amnesia, he finds Aspen in a state he would have never imagined.

She seems like an entirely different person and reminds him so much of himself. They are both stuck in a vicious cycle of lies, schemes and addictions and Collin's determined to finally make things right.

He tries desperately to save Aspen from her own self-destruction because the price they all have been paying seems like too much and he's not willing to pay anymore. Definitely not for something someone else should be paying for.

But saving someone else while also trying to save yourself from demons constantly shadowing your every move might be more difficult than he thought.

And maybe they aren't done paying for all the lies just yet.

In which two ex-step-siblings reconnect after just about blowing up their family the first time around... Three years ago, Maddie fell hard for Jacob Isaacs, the smartest boy in her school. The only problem was this: Her dad had quite literally gotten engaged to his mother. The two tried to dampen the flames of their burgeoning attraction for each other but not before they got caught and were the talk of the town for months. After the fall out, Maddie moved away to try and start her life over and not be known as the girl who got caught doing it with her 'brother' at prom. She hasn't seen her family in ages and intends to keep things that way. Jacob, on the other hand, has worked hard to accomplish everything he's ever dreamed of. He's stayed close to home, done exceptionally well at school, and is adored by just about everyone who meets him. There's only one problem: There's a Maddie-shaped hole where his heart used to be. But no matter how hard he tries to reach out and find her, he can't. She won't let him. He let her down and gave up on them when she needed him most. And she's not ready to forgive and forget. But then Maddie's dad passes and she's forced to come home for his funeral. It should be a quick visit. She intends to make it one. But Jacob has other plans. He let his girl slip through his fingers once and he won't let that happen again. So now he has to convince her to give him one more chance. After all, they're not related to each other anymore.

Dear Olive, I hate you. I hate that you were born and that your human and have a face. I hate that you live next door to me and I hate that I can't sleep at night because the thought of you has forever left a vivid image creased in the back of my mind. And most of all, I hate that you hate me. Hate, Everest Since the first grade when Olivia Kingston and her family moved in right across the street from Kyle Everest, he had believed to have instantly hated her. (At least thats how he tells the story) And maybe it was just because of the mere fact of her existence, or maybe it was that time she ate the last fruit snack at lunch, or let's not forget, in fifth grade she stole his partner in crime, being his twin sister Madeline. Now being 17 years old Kyle Everest still holds this unknown resentment against his next door neighbor Olivia Kingston, and torches her in any possible way he can, but what would happen when Olivia finally gets sick of letting Kyle torcher her unexplainably? Everything would change in the matter of one day when Olivia accidentally gets them both locked in the principals office in search of the same thing: The truth. But while staying together in a cramped room with no phones and surviving off nothing but the secret stash of their principal, while the entire schools is off on spring break, secrets will be told and feeling will unravel. And let's not forget, hate letters will be sent. This book may seem light and fun but it has some mature scenes and dark thoughts that I'd suggest for viewers 16+
