Welcome to Project Threshold, recruits.  My name is Sigma, one of two A.I. assistants you'll be working with in the field.
The goal of Project Threshold is to explore alien worlds and alternate dimensions using the Threshold Gate, a one-of-a-kind portal generator housed here at our main facility.
Resources and data recovered from expeditions to these worlds will help us develop more advanced technologies, medicines, and possibly future homes for humanity.  We cannot thank you enough for your courage and willingness to explore the unknown.All Rights Reserved
