Ridley scoffed and brought himself up from the crouched position, rising from the ground. His eyes fell back to the tray of food and once again a pitying grin found his lips. "I shall wait for that day, then. Though, I worry it may never come."

"Upstairs!" I hear a yell and pounding footsteps. I crawl out of the window until I'm hanging from my hands. I take a breath.
