This story is about a good, free-spirited woman who is forced to marry a king who's distant and insensitive. However, it's not about how they develop feelings and learn to love each other, but abou how they find their love for each other once again, after they lost it.

❖ ── ✦ ──『✙ • ✙』── ✦ ── ❖

After being forced to marry the king at the age 17, Annabelle never thought she'll ever be happy again. Yet, with the time, she managed to do what no one could: make him lower his defense walls and enter in his heart. But that changes when she gives birth to a cripple child as she knows that her husband would never allow a disabled child to taint the reputation of the royal family.
What will happen? Will the king try to get rid of his son in order to save the family's reputation or will his wife manage to change his mind about this?
