Morgana is missing and my father is losing his mind. Our Kingdom is suffering under the hands of a man who is no longer fit to be king. He is overcome with hatred, fear and desperation to find his lost ward.
A year has passed since Morgana was taken from us by Morgause but not a day goes by that I don't miss her, that I don't think about what Merlin and I did. Yet as time passes I have come to realise that what we did was necessary and I shouldn't feel guilty for it, not when the Kingdom is in need of counsel in a time like this.
Though, no amount of counsel or advice could prepare Camelot for what was to come, for what we have unleashed, created. It is the beginning of the end.

Merthur - The King and His Guardian Angel
Merthur AU (Set around early season 4) Arthur Pendragon is the new king of Camelot having assumed the throne after his father's death at the hands of his sister, Morgana. One day while out on a hunt, a Druid appears, telling him of his destiny; a man named Emrys who resides in Ealdor. The Druid advises the king to seek out the man, for Arthur's destiny cannot begin without him, for he is Morgana's doom. Merlin is a young warlock living in the small farming village of Ealdor. He spends his days toiling away at the fields with his best friend Will while honing his magical talents with the help of his mentor, Gaius, the physician from Camelot who visits on occasion. When he meets Arthur Pendragon, he can't help but hate the prat. Of course, until he gets to know him better. Meanwhile, Morgana scours the kingdom for the sorcerer Emrys. Desperate to find him before he finds her. When her search leads her towards Ealdor, she's surprised to find Arthur there, and with a scrawny peasant boy no less. Thirteen-year old Squires Lancelot and Gwaine dropped Merlin off at a safe place. They began their journey back to their kingdom but were attacked by bandits. Gwaine was kidnapped and Lancelot was left for dead, badly injured and unconscious. Luckily, he was taken and healed by druids. They both got word that their kingdom was taken over. Gwaine spent the next nine years wandering, believing that his friend was dead. Merlin didn't see either of them for another nine years... in Camelot. Gwen and Morgana are also a big part of the story and I write in their perspective too.
