On the day of her eighteenth birthday, Pocahontas suddenly finds herself running the family business and at first, it doesn't seem like the worst present in the world. But, her beliefs are tested when a big hotel franchise comes to town and threatens to send the family business to its knees. While trying to support her family and still obtain a somewhat normal senior year, she meets a boy that turns her life upside down.
Now she has a choice to make. Will she choose her family or follow her heart?
