On Daemos, Asch and his knights, Leif, Noi, Pierce, and Rhys, along with the help of Lady Grandma, retrieve the last human soul to use the magic within it. Human souls are the source of magic power throughout Daemos. Lady Grandma takes the soul and asks one of the demons to use the last of their magic to open up a portal. Noi is forced to use the rest of his magic to help, so he was left with no magic at all. The five Daemos go to Earth through the portal and meet a human girl named Ava. They take her as their "prisoner", and Ava has no choice but to allow them to live with her in her apartment. The third example is when Leif lied about growing up with other Daemos and them leaving him behind while completing a mission. There proving that kindness and feelings are a sign of weakness within Daemos. A lot of time had passed and Zex is sent to retrieve the five Daemos, but mainly cares about getting Asch back. After arriving on Earth he meets Ava, and follows her to her apartment. The Daemos are displeased and want to fight. Zex saw this as the opportunity, and threatens the Daemos while holding Ava hostage and telling her the original intent on why they came to Earth. Asch agrees to go back with Zex if he spared Ava. Zex then drops a potion sending all of them back to Daemos. While Zex dropped the potion, Rhys uses his magic on Ava to try and save her. After appearing on Daemos, Zex is the first one to realize that Ava is missing. He gets away before any of the Daemos attack him. The Daemos talk about what happened. They begin to search for her, and in the next scene, Ava is shown lying on the ground with Daemos horns. Asch's brother, Rhal, finds Ava unconscious in front of their home, and takes her inside
