The Other Me

About eighteen years ago, a Crisis happened and the full existent of the world ending disaster was averted. Satoshi Ketchum fought back bravely and the world had yet another bright future awaiting them. Although that is the truth, this final battle took a heavy toll on the boy, causing a battle within himself for months. It got so bad that his father and the Legendary Pokémon had to step in and put his soul into slumber, split his soul into two, and with the help of Serena, raise both into wonderful children.

Ash Ketchum was the mirror image of Satoshi, currently thirteen years old and has been traveling across the land in the same way.

Kirsten Ketchum, born exactly six years later, had her mothers hair and Satoshi's eyes. She isn't very energetic and seems to become weaker and weaker by every passing day.

For all her life, she has just believed she was sick, but the night after she turned seven, she has a dream that causes her to question everything. She had an idea for awhile know that everyone has been hiding SOMETHING, but there's no way the poor girl would ever be told the extent of it.

She will learn the secrets to her family, the Pokémon around her, and even her own existence... but will knowing the truth end up being exactly what causes her downfall OR will it be her saving grace?

This is based off a story I found on my old computer from early 2018 and is meant to take place before Alola even happened. Amourshipping is implied, but only exists to move along the plot.

The events are mostly focused on the OC of the story: Kirsten Ketchum.
