In the beginning of Jim Moriarty's partnership- business and otherwise, with super soldier Sebastian Moran, things were tricky to adjust to.
Written by myself (Sebastian Moran) and my co-writer Octofied (Jim Moriarty). This is just a fun project we saw opportunity to build off. We both were/are huge fans of not only the BBC series but the Universe of Sherlock Holmes!
STORY DISC: ***POV Changes***Moran x Moriarty
Getting used to a live-in was unsurprisingly difficult, yet most thrilling. Moriarty, roughly age 25 at this point, is in the early stages of building his empire. This semi-canon AU plot goes between Moriarty & his body guard & right hand man, Moran.
Jim is gifted with a Silver Tongue, on his demand, whomever he casts his trance on must do what he says. No one has ever been able to resist it. Yet. Of course with great power like this, there is a weakness to balance. With varying factors like willpower and the amount of minds to control, it briefly physically weakens him. Stronger and bolder demands can leave Jim nearly unconscious.
Unable to rely on the power for every business deal or conflict, he needed protection. After tracking down the classified files, he finds the likes of Sebastian Moran.
One of the best records of marksmanship and combat in the British army, who was taken into special ops at a young age and had an experimental enhancement procedure done by the works of secret department heads in the government. Escaping British radar not long after, he has a hard to follow track record of freelance deals in hiding around the world. Reports of crimes he was hired for varied from clean take outs from over a mile away, to gory, violent scenes.
The duo quickly realize the potential of their partnership, and just as quickly realized its not so easy living in close, intimate quarters with your boss. As long as pesky human emotions & needs don't get in the way, they could take over the world in the shadows.
Victoria was always known as the quiet and reserved girl growing up. She kept to herself, never really letting anyone in. This was because of the trauma she experienced at the hands of her father. The abuse and mistreatment she endured for so many years left deep scars on her heart and mind. Despite all that she had been through, Victoria still managed to push through and become a strong, independent woman. She found solace in her work as a kindergarden teacher. The innocence and pure hearts of the children she taught brought her a sense of peace and joy that she had never experienced before. Victoria's older brother, Sebastian, was her rock throughout her childhood. He was the one who protected her from their father's wrath, the one who made sure she was always safe. And then there was Sara, her best friend since they were in college. Sara was always there for Victoria, providing a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear whenever she needed it. But despite having these two amazing people in her life, Victoria still struggled to trust others. She had built up walls around her heart, afraid to let anyone else in for fear of getting hurt again. She had convinced herself that she would never be able to trust a man again, that they were all like her father.
But then she met him...
Alessandro was a man of power and influence in the Italian mafia. At thirty-five years old, he was the boss of one of the most feared criminal organizations in the country. He was ruthless and determined, never hesitating to do whatever it took to maintain control and dominance in his world. His lack of faith in love and commitment stemmed from his upbringing. Alessandro had grown up in a world of violence and chaos, where loyalty to family was the only thing that mattered. He had seen firsthand the destructive power of emotions, how they could cloud judgment and lead to betrayal. He had vowed never to let himself be swayed by such weaknesses.
But all of that changed when he met her...
