Ambientada en Chile a mediados de la década de los noventa, Cristal Celeste cuenta la historia de una niña chilena de trece años, particular desde su nacimiento por vivir en situación de discapacidad, en una sociedad que aún no sabe cómo mirar ni nombrar la diferencia. Cristal crece rodeada de prejuicios, diagnósticos ajenos y límites impuestos, en una época en que la discapacidad y la maternidad en solitario son fuertemente estigmatizadas. Desde muy pequeña desarrolla una identidad propia que la distingue: entre radios encendidas y cassettes gastados, encuentra en la música metal un espacio de refugio, fuerza y expresión, una forma de habitar el mundo cuando este parece no tener un lugar para ella. Narrada desde su mirada íntima, la historia retrata el tránsito entre la niñez y la adolescencia, el conflicto con un cuerpo que cambia y la experiencia de crecer escuchando que "no puede", hasta comenzar a descubrir que sí puede hacerlo a su manera. Cristal Celeste es un relato sensible y honesto sobre identidad, diferencia y resistencia, que da voz a una niña que, en medio de los prejuicios de los años noventa, empieza a construir su propio lugar en el mundo.
