If you cannot die, always heal, and have lived for centuries, what does something almost common look like? Car wreck? Teenagers? Hunters?

This story is a single scenario of what might life be like to encounter the unexpected car and drunk teenage driver. Although the primary background for the story is in the main book still being written, the idea is simple. Charles cannot die. As a Keeper, he took and oath to protect his kind and that of his primary food source, humans. After tens of thousands of years, daily life still is not easy.
